November 20-22: 68th Annual Meeting of the African Studies Association, Atlanta (GA) – I will chair a panel VIII-K-30 New Perspectives on Cabo Verde and Guinea-Bissau, Part II, present the paper “Between Collections and Exclusions: Islamic History, Colonial Legacies, and Museum Practices in Guinea-Bissau“, and serve in an Author meets critics roundtable on Toby Green’s The Heretic of Cacheu.
